Stoneleigh Bed & Breakfast 

is located on Water Street, very close to the main corners and only caution light in Elizabethtown , and within walking distance of: gift shops, grocery stores, the Museum, warm weather-Friday Farmer's Market, Restaurants, Liquor Store, and views of beautiful rivers and hike-able mountains.

We're just a short drive to Lake Placid (28 mi.) and Plattsburgh (37 mi), and Montreal (95 miles) as well as around the corner from Meadowmount School of Music (approx. 4 miles). Burlington, VT is just roughly an hour and a half away.

We also have our own little section of Barton Brook running in front of the house...you cross over it on your way up the drive... and it makes the ambiance completely wonderful (and peaceful)-sitting on the front porch, sipping beverages and listening to the "quiet".

If it's chilly (or you'd like the romance of it all) we have four fireplaces downstairs (there's one in the: Main Foyer, Library, Living Room, and downstairs Suite), and two upstairs - Room # 3, and Room #5. Cuddle up in the Library with a good book, or cable TV (with DVD/VCR), a fire, and good company (or not), and you'll never want to leave!

We do allow 1 to 2 small pets per room, but please call in advance to be sure there's not already some staying or if you're bringing more than 1 (and due to previous visitors, there is now a $10 extra charge for your pet-plus you pet is not allowed to be left unattended in your room-when you go out,they go too).......smoking is tolerated  OUTSIDE ONLY (on or off the porch-preferably off) ........children are always welcomed but we'd like them to be supervised.....if you have to cancel we would like notice preferably BEFORE your scheduled stay so someone else can have your room (please BE CONSIDERATE as we are a small business and not a major hotel chain-thanks)......breakfast is continental style but there's plenty to eat....and we accept cash, credit cards, and travelers checks......payment at check in is preferred.
